This time, the challenge was to organize a "whole Israel day"!
Together with the local Madrichim team, we decided to create experiences throughout the day that would connect the participants with Israel on various levels. From waking up to live Israeli radio to enjoying Israeli food all day (Shakshuka, Falafel, Shawarma) and making their own Hummus!
The day's focus was divided into three parts. The first part featured six stations where history, geography, Youth Movements, and other Israel-related topics were presented.
In the second part, the group was divided into six "real" Israeli parties, which they needed to learn about and present during the third part: The election evening! Throughout, they needed to secure "financial" funding for the party activities.
Additionally, we had three guest lectures on Sports in Israel, Eurovision, and the IDF.
By the end of the day, every participant gained a personal insight about Israel.
