ZWST Youth Congress in Hamburg, February 27-March 2, 2025

The ZWST Youth Congress is an annual event organized by the Central Welfare Office of the Jews in Germany (ZWST) aimed at young Jewish adults from across Germany. It serves as a platform for exchange, networking, and continuing education on Jewish, social, and political topics.


Typically the program includes:

  • Workshops and lectures on current topics such as anti-Semitism, Jewish identity, Israel, intercultural dialogue and social participation.

  • Discussions with experts and politicians on issues relevant to the Jewish community.

  • Networking opportunities for young Jewish leaders.

  • Cultural and social activities to strengthen cohesion within the young Jewish community.


The Youth Congress is one of the most important events for Jewish youth in Germany and is supported by the Central Council of Jews in Germany.


This year workshops were held with, among others, Rabbi Apel, the Israeli Ambassador HE Mr. Ron Prosor, Aleeza Ben Shalom ("Jewish Matchmaking"), Igor Levit, Yorai Lahav-Hertzanu of the Yesh Atid party, Michael Roth, Zohar Livne-Mizrahi (Kibbutz Reim), Yoseph Hadad and many others.
